SOME SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Choose an ABC supplier who can provide you with well-maintained LPG cylinders, and after-sales support.
• Always close the cylinder or gas pipe valves after use.
• Use a child-safe regulator on the ABC cylinder in your kitchen
• Ensure that ABC is odorized to allow you to smell any leaking of gas.
• Use a solution of soapy water and look for bubbles coming from around valves and pipe joints. These bubbles indicate a gas leak.
• If you smell a gas leak:
1. Turn off the gas supply valve from the cylinder or gas pipe.
2. Turn off electric appliance.
REDUCTION OF LPG WASTAGE
• Keep all the cooking ingredient ready before cooking which will help you to lower ABC consumption.
• Cover the vessel while cooking which helps to cook food faster and thus reduces the ABC wastage.
• Use same-sized vessels and burners. For example, use a small burner for a small vessel. This will help to reduce the volume of ABC used.
